Aussie Hoops — Basketball Australia & Victoria’s Official Beginner Program (Ages 5–8)

A fun and engaging entry-level program designed to introduce young children to basketball in a safe and supportive environment. Aussie Hoops is all about learning new skills, building confidence and having a great time while being active with friends.

Venue Options

• Aqualink Box Hill
• Sportlink, Vermont South

Program Format - Fridays
• 1 x 45-minute session each week
• 4 session options available across the two venues

Pathway to Play
As players grow in confidence and skills, they can seamlessly transition into the Friday:
• Train & Play (Foundation / Prep level)
• Modified Competition — Year 1 to Year 3

Optional Uniform & Gear
Participants can purchase the official reversible Playball–Aussie Hoops singlet and Size-5 Aussie Hoops basketball during the PlayHQ registration.
All players should bring: a size-5 basketball and a drink bottle each week.

COST 9-Weeks: Playball Fee $112.50 plus Basketball Vic/Aust $9.50. (optional Aussie Hoops Participation Pack $50.00)
